 LEFT HANDED FROG

Access into the wide world of Mathematics

WHAT DO WE DO?

Welcome to my website! In the spirit of scientific collaboration, the Left Handed Frog is a blog for anyone hoping to access the wide world of mathematics beyond their school syllabus.

Studying maths for enjoyment is a completely different experience from being taught at GCSE and A-level; often the concepts are more abstract, and you spend a lot less time doing and more thinking. Here, I hope to share with you some diverse, interesting or just plain old useful resources to help you on your way to a better enjoyment of that kind of maths!

Despite what you might have been told, you don't have to be super smart or even a student to access these really cool topics . Not only this, but the logical structures we study in them can help loads with critical thinking and problem solving, which is applicable to almost any field of life!

You can look at some of my posts, watch some of the videos I link (just in case you don't want the bother of looking them up yourself) and start discussions in the forum.

Have fun!
